Masters Level Therapist

I meet the clients where they are, focusing on listening, validation and unconditional positive regard. I work with adults, couples, and elderly on a variety of mental health challenges ranging from anxiety, depression, acceptance, relationships, identity to past trauma. I am EMDR-trained and offer trauma-informed therapeutic approaches. I am a Licensed Mental Health counselor and have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field starting with work in the local HRI Hospital, Boston and McLean Hospital, Belmont where I worked with acute and dual-diagnosis patients. The last several years, I have been working for private clinics to support diverse populations and their individual needs.
When it comes to working with couple, I help couples work toward common goals and communicate in a progressive, productive and positive manner. We focus on listening to and hearing one another, working through resentments and anger, acknowledging effort, seeing one another and learning to work as a team.
When it comes to navigating childcare, a move, loss of parents, changing jobs, we focus on supportive tackling of obstacles, setting clear expectations for one another and checking in. My focus is to highlight the productive ways partners connect and to encourage quality time. I am a witness to their process as they draw closer to one another by learning how to fight and navigate disagreements respectfully. I advise both partners to be in individual therapy to work through their individual conflicts. Collaboratively and with kind motivation, we work toward compassionate connectivity and understanding. I serve as a guide, holding each one accountable and validating their truth.
