Mental Health Counselor

My name is Michael Hall, a licensed therapist who has worked in inpatient, community, school and office settings at all ages on addiction, co-occuring symptoms, and associated difficulties like anxitey, depression, and bi-polar issues. I have diverse clinical experience across genders and gender identities, taking a person centered approach.
I come from a place of admiration for anyone willing to take the hard step of reaching for help. That strength alone speaks to you ability to put in the work and find success.
I have found that, although the work can be hard at times, there are generally simple steps to overall success.

I believe that the resilience we gain living with adversity is often the greatest skill needed in reaching your definition of success. With a focus on what we can control, what thought patterns create our limitations, and focusing on creating tools to practice working in these areas, over time people find that they have the power to create change.

I believe that none of us are broken and need to be fixed. Instead, we can adopt unsuccessful behaviors and outlooks that often lead to unwanted outcomes. As a clinician, my job is to be a partner with you; you are the professional on your life. My job will be to work with you and offer different perspectives and possible alternatives that will help.
