Intern
Greetings. My name is Max Galibois, and I am an intern with Northeast Health Services in Newton working towards my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. Previously, I’ve worked in criminal redemption programs with both juvenile participants and adult incarcerated individuals, as well as within special education alongside students with extensive support needs, including complex medical needs. From these opportunities, I value patience and the chance to engage with the wholeness of one’s experience. Our work will reflect the strengths-based, person-centered approaches that offer stability exploring individual challenges and wellbeing.
Together, we’ll observe and interact with the matters that draw you most in our conversations. With roots in narrative and cognitive therapies, our sessions will recognize factors yielding distress while maintaining mindfulness and compassion of the thoughts, feelings, relationships, or circumstances that found resilience and healing.
Through all of the joys and hardships of your own story, everything deserves care and appreciation. Offering the chance to walk with you along this journey of wellness is a distinct privilege and a testament of trust. I would greatly welcome the honor to be present in your story and look forward to your thriving through our time together.
