My ideal client is someone that’s looking to better understand themselves, their mental health, and environmental circumstances. They may be feeling stuck, lost or heartsick. And are interested and ready to take control or heal at their own pace and through their own actions/decisions. I specialize in a wide range of ages starting from adolescents and continuing into senior adults.
I can offer psychoeducation, therapeutic techniques, compassion and guidance that can help deepen a person’s relationship with themself and their personal goals, meeting them exactly where they are in their struggle. I like to offer clients understanding backed by authentic observation and research. I touch upon a variety of different theories depending on what best fits the client and their unique circumstances. Some of my favorites are CBT, DBT, ACT and motivational interviewing. My approach has often been described as “philosophical”.
I treasure authenticity and want my client to feel as though they are making progress toward being the best version of themself. I’m here to be curious by their side and be a safe person on their journey of healing, empowerment, and self-discovery.
