Intern

Hello, I’m Kitty Shafique, a Mental Health Counseling Intern at our Quincy clinic dedicated to creating a warm, supportive space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, trauma, and relationship challenges. My person-centered, strengths-based approach focuses on what matters most to you. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, explore life’s challenges with compassion, and work toward meaningful growth, healing, and lasting well-being.

I incorporate Narrative Therapy and Expressive Arts to help clients explore their stories, deepen self-understanding, build resilience, and discover new paths toward healing and growth. I believe creative expression can provide a powerful way to access emotions, reconnect with our authentic selves, and imagine new possibilities.

Healing is a journey of reconnecting with yourself, your strengths, and what brings meaning and joy to your life. I strive to create a safe and compassionate space where you feel seen and supported. I look forward to walking alongside you as you explore your story and move toward growth, healing, and hope.
