Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Hi there! My name is Kendra Pavao and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) at our Taunton clinic with over 8 years of experience in mental health care, along with a background in emergency medicine. My experience also includes serving as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, providing compassionate care to individuals impacted by sexual abuse, trauma, and other difficult life experiences.
I care for patients across the lifespan and believe that mental health care should be compassionate, individualized, and free of judgment. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their mental health journey.
I am passionate about helping reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and making quality mental health care more approachable and accessible. As a PMHNP-BC, I look forward to building meaningful relationships with my clients and supporting each person in achieving greater emotional well-being and a healthier quality of life.
