Hello, my name is Katherine Cinquino and I am an intern at Northeast Health Services – Chelsea. I have worked previously as a Registered Behavior Technician for children with autism and ADHD. I have experience working in both schools and clinic settings and primarily with children from ages 2-12. However, I am open to working with ages in the lifespan from ages 6+. My goal in our counseling session will be to offer you a supportive environment where we can explore important topics and work together as a team. When working with me, you will find
a calm, empathetic, and caring place where we can focus on what matters most to you.
As a team, we will build this supportive environment through open dialogue and following the flow of conversation in a natural way. I will use the techniques of unconditional positive regard to build an empathetic setting, as well as cognitive-behavioral elements to give you concrete tools to work on inside and outside of session.
Taking the first step towards reaching out to a counselor is not always easy, and I admire you for taking that step. I’d love to be able to get to know and form a connection with you where we can begin to explore the things as a team.
