Hello! I’m Jessica Sousa, a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) candidate, interning at Northeast Health Services – Attleboro. As a former teacher, I have over a decade of experience working with young adults in supporting their social-emotional success. My goal is to work with you to build a supportive, collaborative partnership where you feel safe and heard. In my practice, I use a trauma-informed person centered approach coupled with psychoeducation to work alongside you as you explore your thoughts and feelings.
In our work together, we’ll explore somatic grounding techniques such as meditation and breath work to help aid you in the process of growing into a deeper understanding of yourself and a stronger connection to your community.
Most importantly, I believe that you matter. Nobody has the same story, but everybody’s story deserves to be heard; I would be honored to hear yours.
