Jen Panetta, MSW

Masters Social Worker

Hi! My name is Jen, and I’m a therapist at the Somerville clinic. I’m excited to support individuals on their journey toward achieving their mental health goals. I bring years of experience working on an inpatient trauma unit, as well as providing community-based care for children and families. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed space where you can be your authentic self. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs. Together, we’ll work as a team to build on your strengths, navigate challenges, and help create meaningful, lasting change.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed space where you can be your authentic self. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs. I use a variety of modalities like trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy.

I understand starting therapy can be scary! As your therapist, I will help you navigate what therapy means to you and will meet you where you are at in each session. Together, we’ll work as a team to build on your strengths, navigate challenges, and help create meaningful, lasting changes. I am looking forward to getting to know you:)
