Master of Social Work

Hi! My name is Jamie Styer. I am a clinician at our Watertown clinic, where I provide therapy services! I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your whole self, without judgment or pressure. My approach is person-centered, compassionate, and collaborative. I take a holistic approach, recognizing that our mental health is shaped by our emotions, relationships, environments, and life experiences. I work with individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and relationship challenges. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and comfortable being yourself.

Together, we can explore what you’re experiencing, identify patterns, and build tools to support your well-being. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness to better understand your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Our work will focus on realistic coping strategies and meaningful, lasting change.

Inviting another person into your world is a brave and meaningful first step. I believe each person has inherent worth and strive to create a genuine, welcoming space where you feel seen, heard, and respected. We can begin wherever you are and move at a pace that feels comfortable. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you along the way.
