Intern
Hi, I’m Hawley, an intern currently enrolled in Bridgewater University’s Master of Social Work graduate program. My approach is grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and the belief that people are shaped by their individual experiences and the people, community, and systems that surround them. My goal is to create a collaborative, safe space to explore what matters most to an individual using a person-in-environment, strengths based lens. My goal is to help you feel empowered and supported in reaching your therapeutic goals in a space free of judgement.
We will work together to navigate your individual needs in a compassionate, collaborative space. I approach counseling with the understanding that a person is shaped by their environment and circumstances. We can work together to explore your strengths and develop strategies to support your goals.
Seeking out counseling is an important first step to creating meaningful change in your life. You are the expert on your experience, and I am here to help you feel respected and heard. Together we will explore your challenges, strengths and goals to find ways to make your life feel a little more manageable.
