Master’s Social Worker
Hello, I’m Erik Viggh, a Social Worker at Northeast Health Services in Brighton. I have experience with disabled, neurodiverse, and LGTBQ+ clients of all ages, and I welcome anyone of any background. I believe first and foremost in creating a safe space for my clients and taking their perspectives and experiences seriously. I focus on the strengths of my clients and draw on my experience with Psychodynamics, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems to help them work through trauma, improve themselves, or whatever else they deem to be important to them.
We’ll use tools like CBT and IFS to not only identify what is getting in your way, but to teach you ways of getting all the different parts of your brain working as one team with the goal of helping you achieve your goals and work through whatever stressors are in your day to day life.
A lot of people who struggle with mental health are made to feel lesser because of it. But just because someone needs help doesn’t make them any less valuable. All of us struggle different amounts, but our happiness is just as valuable. No matter what your struggles are, you deserve empathy and kindness, and I look forward to helping you.
