Mental Health Counselor

Hello, My name is Emy Goldsmith. I provide therapy services at our Harvard Square clinic.
I’m a pre-licensed mental health counselor and a recent graduate of Umass Boston. Guided by feminist theory, I believe that our individual experiences are shaped by the relationships, families, communities, and systems around us. My approach centers on building a connection, recognizing your strengths, and creating space for you to better understand yourself. I enjoy helping people find their voice, build confidence, work through uncertainty, and make choices that feel right for them.
I have experience supporting college students as they navigate transitions that come with this stage of life. I also have experience supporting new parents and previously worked as a career counselor. This background has given me a particular interest in life transitions, identity, relationships.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply want a space to better understand yourself, I’d be glad to meet you where you are. Together, we can explore what’s going on, identify what matters to you, and work toward greater confidence and clarity.
Outside of counseling, I’m a mother to two college aged kids.
