Licensed Mental Health Counselor | Clinic Director
[She/Her/Hers]
I’m a 40-year-old LMHC therapist who has worked for Northeast Health Services for almost 12 years! When I started, I was a Master-Level clinician working toward licensure as an LMHC. With the agency’s support, I passed my exam, submitted my application, and was approved as an LMHC in February 2017. Once I gained sufficient experience, I transitioned to a clinical supervisor role, managing my own caseload while also supporting clinicians in their work.
I studied at Lesley University for my Master of Arts in Expressive Therapies and Mental Health Counseling. Through that program, I learned about alternative approaches to supporting therapy through nonverbal and creative means. Incorporating the arts into therapy is exciting and engages clients when words are not enough or don’t accurately capture the spectrum of emotions and experiences.
Being part of the growth process for interns and Master-Level clinicians is where I find my passion. I value the supervisory working relationship to establish an understanding of a clinician’s skills while supporting them in building on those strengths. I am a believer in communication and value opportunities to receive feedback as well as to give it.
