License Mental Health Counselor
I’m Dr. Nicole D. Coakley, serving adults ages 18–65. I provide therapy services at our Springfield clinic.
I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and family therapy. Using trauma-informed CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and a strengths-based approach, I help you identify triggers, regulate emotions, strengthen communication and relationships, develop healthy coping skills, process difficult experiences, and build resilience in a safe, culturally responsive space. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your authentic self and feel heard, respected, supported, and never judged.
I believe every person brings their own story, experiences, challenges, and strengths into the therapeutic space and their care should reflect that individuality. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I work collaboratively with clients to identify what is most important to them and develop goals that are realistic and meaningful for their lives.
My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel comfortable being yourself while developing practical tools to manage challenges, strengthen coping skills, build confidence, and recognize your own resilience. I believe healing and growth look different for everyone, and progress does not always happen in a straight line.
