Intern

I am a clinical social work intern at our Danvers clinic from Boston College School of Social Work, with plans to pursue my LCSW in the spring. I work with children, teens, young adults and women out of our Danvers clinic, and specialize in obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, mood disorders and trauma. My expertise lies in Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, with experience using CBT and DBT. However, as an intern, my knowledge and experience pulling from different therapy modalities is ever-expanding!

I believe it is important that the work we do together always remains collaborative and aimed at what you would like to get out of therapy.
I try to bring a touch of whimsy and creativity to any therapy modality that I use and supplement these therapies with various forms of narrative therapy to encourage empowerment and help you tap into your already existing well of courage and resilience.
This may look like utilizing fantasy and adventure books, creative writing, tarot cards, tabletop RPGs, such as Dungeons & Dragons, or any form of storytelling/art that calls to you! I believe that we can all embrace the hero’s journey, one that is equal parts exploratory, comfortable, daring, emboldening and healing. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you embark on yours.
