Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Level 1

I have an extensive history working with clients who have persistent mental illness, including schizophrenia, chronic suicidal ideation, bipolar disorders, and psychosis. I also specialize in substance use treatment. In addition, I have worked with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, and OCD. I love working with clients seeking a therapeutic relationship where they can develop skills and utilize their independence to find growth and answers to their personal development with the help of a mental health professional. My ideal client will be able to vocalize what they are seeking mental health counseling for, and we can work collaboratively towards solutions.

I am a person-centered therapist who values the client’s wants, needs and preferences. I will work with you in a collaborative relationship to help you achieve the goals and solutions you are looking for. I specialize in substance use treatment, but I have experience working with a wide range of diagnoses and with individuals of all ages.

Although I am a relatively new grad, I have nearly 11 years of experience working in mental health. I have worked in community-based mental health settings such as substance use and correctional institutions. I value my work wholeheartedly, and I chose this field to make a difference in the lives of others. I am always taking new trainings and engaging in learning opportunities so I can become the best mental health provider I can be!
