Intern
Hi, I’m Abraham (Avi) Seri. I’m an Intern at our Milford clinic.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Bridgewater State University, and am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW). During my internship at Jewish Family Services, I supported older adults by providing companionship, reducing social isolation, and leading group activities. I also have experience working with children and teens in school and community settings. My goal is to provide a supportive and inclusive space where you feel heard, respected, and confident as we work together toward your goals.
I want to create a space where patients feel comfortable being themselves and sharing their experiences without being judged. I have experience working with children, teens, and older adults, and I focus on building trust, recognizing strengths, and supporting them through challenges like stress, anxiety, life changes, and difficult emotions.
I believe asking for support is a sign of strength, and I want patients to know you don’t have to go through these challenges alone. I hope to create a space where patients feel heard, respected, and comfortable sharing their story. I look forward to getting to know these patients and supporting them as they work toward their goals.
