Mental Health Counselor
Hello! My name is Alyssa Lewis, and I am a Master’s Level therapist at our Boston – South End clinic. I would describe myself as a person-centered therapist who believes that every individual possesses unique strengths, resilience, and the capacity for growth. My background includes working with individuals with disabilities as they work toward greater independence and meaningful vocational goals. This has reinforced my commitment to meeting people where they are, and honoring their unique experiences. Whether you are seeking support for specific challenges or navigating life transitions, I am dedicated to providing a respectful and safe space.
I enjoy supporting emerging adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and challenges related to personal growth and identity. I have a particular interest in helping individuals build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change that aligns with their values and goals.
Reaching out for and accepting support can be a difficult first step, but it is also a sign of great courage. Whatever you may be facing, it is important to know that you do not have to face it alone. I am here to listen, and would welcome the opportunity to connect and work together to help you reach your goals.
