Yasmeen Abu-Alsaoud

Licensed Therapist

I am a clinician at our Quincy clinic who provides therapy services!

Counseling is a place to gain insight, explore solutions, and receive the support you need to make meaningful and positive changes in your life. I can help with different diagnoses and problems such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, family dysfunction, stress with career changes, feeling burned out at work or at school, incorporating more practical self care, as well as helping to support other therapists to name a few.

I am an Arab American therapist with an LMHC license working both remotely and in person. As an artist, writer, pet owner and previous preschool and afterschool teacher I bring a creative lens to problem solving. Having gone through a career change myself, I am acutely aware of the challenges of this process and enjoy supporting others through this experience. I have 4 years plus of experience in doing mental health counseling. I work with kids, teens, adults, older adults and the elderly.

I do a mix of client centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and try to incorporate holistic approaches to healing as well such as lifestyle changes and incorporating mindfulness into your day, to help support clients depending on what’s needed.
