Licensed Mental Health Counselor
I am a clinician at our Milford clinic who provides therapy services!
My ideal client is someone navigating life stressors, trauma, identity, and systemic stressors, often carrying the weight of complex histories, whether through personal adversity, military service, or justice system involvement. They may present with co-occurring disorders such as PTSD, substance use issues, or moral injury. Many are in transitional phases of life, experiencing instability in housing, relationships, or purpose.
What they need most is a space where they can be seen without judgment and heard with intention. They seek connection, consistency, and someone who can balance clinical insight with real-world understanding. They often want to reduce the intensity of their symptoms, regain a sense of control, and learn how to live with, not against, their past.
Their goals typically include emotional regulation, sobriety or harm reduction, improved relationships, and a deeper sense of personal agency. Many are searching for meaning in their suffering and desire to build a life rooted in authenticity, not just survival. What they want, ultimately, is hope and a guide who won’t flinch when the story gets dark.
I specialize in trauma-informed care with a focus on individuals impacted by complex trauma, substance use disorders, and systems involvement, including veterans, first responders, and justice-involved populations. My clinical foundation is integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities like CBT, ACT, and mindfulness, while staying grounded in relational and culturally responsive frameworks.
What I offer is a direct, compassionate, and non-pathologizing space where clients can explore difficult truths without fear of judgment. I focus on helping clients develop emotional regulation skills, reframe shame, and connect with their resilience. My style is warm, honest, and collaborative, I don’t just sit and nod. I show up. I ask hard questions. I stay present when things get heavy.
Clients often tell me they feel “seen” in a way they haven’t before. I bring both lived experience and clinical training to the room, which allows me to bridge gaps between the clinical world and real-life struggles. I help people find language for the things they’ve never said out loud, and help them build lives that feel worth living.
I want you to know that I get it, healing is hard, and starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’ve had to be the strong one for too long. Maybe you’ve been misjudged, misunderstood, or labeled in ways that never fit. I work with people who have been through real things, trauma, loss, incarceration, addiction, grief, systemic harm, and I meet them with respect, not pity.
I’m not here to “fix” you. You’re not broken. I’m here to help you carry what’s heavy, make sense of the chaos, and learn new ways to move forward, on your terms. Therapy with me is honest, human, and full of moments where we can laugh, cry, and even sit in silence if that’s what’s needed.
I bring both professional experience and personal insight to the room. I know what it’s like to rebuild. I know the courage it takes just to show up. If you’re reading this and wondering if therapy could actually help, I invite you to reach out. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to start.
