Mental Health Counselor
I am passionate about supporting individuals and families as they navigate challenges related to substance abuse, special needs, Alzheimer’s care, and mental health. My clinical experience includes working with clients with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) and collaborating with the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) to provide advocacy, community reintegration, and individualized care. I am dedicated to fostering a supportive, goal-oriented environment that promotes growth, independence, and positive transformation.
I take a trauma-informed and person-centered approach to counseling, tailoring care to meet the unique needs of each client. My professional background spans behavioral health settings where I have worked with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in developing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and leading therapeutic sessions, including individual, family, and group therapy. My focus is on empowering clients to build resilience, develop adaptive skills, and achieve their personal goals within a supportive and inclusive framework.
I believe in the resilience and potential of every individual and am committed to meeting clients where they are in their journey. My counseling practice is grounded in empathy, advocacy, and a collaborative approach to help clients overcome barriers and create meaningful, lasting change.
Outside of my professional work, I prioritize self-care by spending time with loved ones, engaging in community activities, exploring new recipes, and staying active through outdoor walks and mindfulness practices.
