Scott Cunningham, LPC

Scott is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 30 years of experience working across a variety of clinical settings. He has developed high quality counseling skills through work in community-based clinics, with crisis teams, and in a variety of other social service programs.  Scott has extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples.  His experience working collaboratively with clients from many different backgrounds has helped shape his skills-based, person-centered approach.

Scott’s therapeutic approach is client-centered and strengths-based. He utilizes a variety of tools and techniques in the therapy he provides including aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy and reality therapy. Scott tailors his approach to best fit the uniqe needs of each client. His clinical experience includes working with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, thought disorders, grief, relationship and family difficulties. In addition, Scott has expertise helping with stress management, adjustment disorders, and the navigation of life changes.

Scott Cunningham, LPC is a native to western Pennsylvania and bleeds black and gold. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Christian Counseling from Fort Wayne Bible College. Then he earned his Master’s degree in Counseling Education from The University of Pittsburgh. Scott is big sports fan and enjoys, walking and working out. He appreciates spending quality time with friends and family.
