I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Masters Addiction Counselor who has been working in hospitals and clinics since 2001; and joined the InterCare’s private practice in 2009. I found my passion working with people addicted to substances while completing my master’s degree at Boston College. This led to a Masters Addiction Certification. Having this education and knowledge has helped me gain a better understanding while working in the Medication Assisted Treatment Program we have in the office. Once I became a mother, I quickly found another population that was close to my heart—parents. Over the years, I have expanded my go-to treatment modalities to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Brief Therapy, Group Therapy, and Mindfulness. Every day, I learn something new and for that I am grateful.
