Licensed Clinical Social Worker
My ideal client would be someone who wants help with their situation and want to better themselves by working on their goals. The client may be apprehensive and/or ambivalent about whether therapy will be effective for them, but is willing to try and seek assistance by being open-minded in exploring all the methods that are available to them. The client may also want to meet with a therapist without having a specific issue to work on or goal in mind and instead want to have a non-judgmental person listen to them and convey a sense of caring and empathy.
I have worked with numerous populations and have assisted individuals live a happier and more fulfilling life by reaching and working toward their goals. I have primarily worked with adults and older adults who suffer from chronic illness, terminal illness, anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia. I am a compassionate, non-judgmental, caring clinician. I love what I do and find my work very rewarding. I feel that this is conveyed in my sessions with clients.
I was drawn to this field because I have always had a passion to help individuals make a positive difference in their lives. I want my clients to know that they possess the power to make positive changes and can have a fulfilling life by identifying the source of their problem and working on it.
