Nazila May, MSW, LCSW

I am a provider at our Woburn clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. My greatest passion is assisting individuals who are genuinely committed to transforming their lives. I specialize in helping clients who face a variety of mental health challenges, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and major life changes. I believe that meaningful change is achievable through a strong therapeutic alliance, the right strategies, and a shared commitment to personal growth. My ideal clients seek a supportive and understanding environment to explore their difficulties, aiming to improve their mental well-being, develop effective coping mechanisms, and enhance their overall quality of life. I offer a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental space where clients can address their concerns. My specialties include trauma-informed psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic approach. I personalize my therapeutic approach to meet each client’s unique needs and together, we will engage in a collaborative process, working as a team to achieve meaningful goals. I am fluent in Persian (Farsi), Dari, and Turkish (Azerbaijani dialect).

The work I do is person-centered, with an emphasis on building a strong foundation for lasting change. I find my most successful clients to be those who are open, communicative, willing to engage in work between sessions, and ready to face challenges head-on. Seeking help and embracing change can be challenging. By reaching out, you’ve already taken the first step! It would be an honor for me to support you on your path to healing.
