Counselor
I work with client who enjoy putting in the work to build a more fulfilling and satisfying life. Life can throw us some curve balls at times – I enjoy welcoming clients into my office where they can process stressors in a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic space.
My approach to treatment is multi-dimensional. I use a person-centered approach along with techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I help clients learn more about themselves, build skills, insights, and grow into the person that they were meant to be.
I believe that a therapeutic relationship is built on trust, respect, authenticity and some humor sprinkled in from time to time. I value providing an empathetic and non-judgmental space where my clients can safely process current concerns or stressors. I’ve worked with a range of clients and disorders. From those experiencing mild depression, anxiety, or life transitions to more challenging disorders such as co-occurring disorders, mood disorders, and personality disorders. My work experience has been in various settings including hospitals, clinics, treatment centers, and offices.
