LuAnn Scarton is a Registered & Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist with 25 years of experience working in the field of Nutrition.  LuAnn is passionate about using a combination of conventional & functional nutrition/medicine methods to help her client improve health and achieve wellness. LuAnn is available to work with clients struggling with a wide range of challenges, from weight management and healthy lifestyle changes to addressing the nutritional aspects of chronic health problems such as cardio-metabolic, gastrointestinal, and autoimmune conditions.

LuAnn has worked in a range of settings including acute care, long term care, a medically-based fitness center, and a food service distribution center. She currently works in private practice & at UPMC’s Center for Integrative Medicine with both adult & pediatric patients.

LuAnn received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Pittsburgh & a Master of Science Degree in Human Nutrition & Functional Medicine from the University of Western States.  She is a Certified LEAP therapist.
