Intern
Hello! My name is David Pasco; I am a mental health counseling student, currently completing his practicum. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care while working under clinical supervision. My approach is warm, empathetic, and client-centered. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to counseling, and I feel that it’s my job to work with you to tailor an approach around you that works. I believe healing begins in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to share their experiences and work toward meaningful change. I welcome working with people who know they need support but aren’t sure where to start.
My goal is to provide a warm environment where clients can feel comfortable discussing their triumphs, troubles, and other concerns, and be empowered to discover opportunities and strategies to facilitate change towards a lifestyle more in line with their individual values and expectations.
ntering into counseling can be intimidating, whether it’s for the first time, or trying to pick back up after having done so before. If you’re reading this, I assume you’re contemplating counseling, and I want to congratulate you for having the willpower to consider facing those fears. I hope you’re giving yourself credit for the huge step that that can be. I’m looking forward to hearing from you, but if I don’t seem like the counselor for you, please don’t give up the search. We are all so varied as individuals, and whether it’s me or someone else, I assure you, there is a mental health professional out there that can assist you in unlocking the potential for meaningful change you’ve been hoping for. I wish you the best of luck in your search.
